Born and raised in Normandy, François and Anne-Charlotte Gauthron have devoted their lives to sharing the stories that shaped their homeland, from D-Day to the rich cultural and human history of the region. What began as a personal fascination became a shared vocation : guiding travelers through places where history still breathes, with care, accuracy, and emotion.

For François, it all started in childhood: listening to stories from his mother, a witness to the Liberation, and meeting veterans who returned to Normandy decades later. His curiosity became a lifelong study, leading him to become a licensed historian-guide and author.

Anne-Charlotte grew up surrounded by those same voices : veterans, survivors and travelers from around the world. She discovered the meaning of remembrance through her father’s passion. Today, she carries that legacy forward, blending her own perspective, empathy and cultural openness to make each visit a human experience as much as a historical one.
